Upholding the value of equality of educational opportunity, AU has partnered with UniAthena, a UK-based edtech provider with a global reach of learners from diverse backgrounds and communities, to offer several professional development programs and short courses with career, vocational or technical focus for the socially and economically backward student community.
The myriad of short courses enable them to acquire specialized knowledge in a field of their choice. Flexible in nature, the students can access these short online courses for free, and in some cases, they can pursue the courses with meager fees.

The APD website offerings are not accredited by the Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education and Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC). The ‘Million Coders’ initiative by AUPD powered by Airtics Education aims to empower a million young people in 25 countries with essential AI skills and helps them learn to code, upskill coding, and re-skill for employment in the future. It provides a global platform to showcase the participants’ proficiency in coding by encouraging them to turn their ideas into technological projects and engaging them in building a prosperous future.
